The Rules:
PLEASE LET ME KNOW you want to join. I prefer working through email because some people don't check their pms or their pm mailbox is full. You may contact me via and I will send you my address.
SEND ME doll-size Valentines. Plan on mailing your Valentines on or before January 27th, preferably by Priority Mail. The Valentines MUST reach me by FEBRUARY 3RD or I will assume you dropped out. When the Valentines arrive at my house on time, that will be confirmation that you are participating in the swap. I'll let you know I received them. Also, I will then have your return address.
ENCLOSE $3.85 so I can send your return Valentine package via priority mail.
Send me as many Valentines as you want. I will swap all the Valentines and mail them out on February 5th. If you send me 1 Valentine, you will receive 1 Valentine back. If you send me a dozen, you'll get a dozen back. If you send me 100 Valentines, I can't guarentee they'll all be different because there aren't 100 swappers involved... but the list is growing. But there are tons of dolls involved and some people may be sending more than one kind of Valentine. At any rate, your dolls will enjoy the package you get back. Valentine Ideas:
~ Valentines can be handmade or store bought but they must be doll-size. To figure out the size, hold a Valentine next to the doll. If it looks dolly-size, then it is fine. Valentines for 18" dolls should average 1" to 2".
~ Valentines can all be the same or different.
~ Tiny envelopes will keep an embellished Valentine from getting damaged.
~ Cut pieces from old Valentines to make them smaller and add a little glitter or lace.
~ Make construction paper hearts and add embellishments.
~ Use scrapbooking supplies.
~ Use foam pieces or felt.
~ If you're feeling really creative, cardmaking books have great ideas, including pop-ups or special folding. Some ideas are adaptable to a smaller size.
Writing on the Valentine:
If the Valentine says "To:", just leave the name blank. The recipient can fill in a name. If the Valentine says "From:", please write or print your screen name on each Valentine. That way, the recipients will know who it is from. You may also write your name, your doll or doll's names too.
Please let me know if there are any changes to the following information.
